Message from the TACE Staff

The Rehabilitation Services Administration, U.S. Department of Education, has awarded the Region IV Technical Assistance and Continuing Education (TACE) grant for the 2008-2013 term (TACE Center: Region IV) to the Burton Blatt Institute (BBI) of Syracuse University.


State Leadership & Regional Advisory Councils

The TACE Center: Region IV is forming a Regional Advisory Council (RAC) and State Leadership Councils (SLC) in each of the eight States in the U.S. Southeast Region that we serve to ensure input and guidance on the issues affecting the employment outcomes of persons with disabilities in the region and the quality of the services they receive.

Continuing Education Events for VR Personnel

The TACE Center: Region IV provides various trainings opportunities for continuing education for Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors.


Developing Communities of Excellence (COE)

In response to a review of all current state plans for vocational rehabilitation and comprehensive statewide needs assessments, the TACE Center: Region IV announces the availability of customized training and technical assistance that, over a two-year period, will lead to the development of a “Community of Excellence” in each state. The TACE Innovations Team will lead these efforts.


VR Training Needs Survey — Your Input is Important!

The TACE Center: Region IV invites you to complete a Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) training needs assessment for the Southeast Region IV states [AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN] to assist us in prioritizing technical assistance (TA), continuing education (CE) and related training activities for State VR and Services for the Blind systems and their partner agencies.
