Deborah Greene coordinates project activities for the Region IV Technical Assistance and Continuing Education (TACE Southeast) program, Burton Blatt Institute (BBI) Southeast. She maintains responsibility for day-to-day TACE operations relating to communications, evaluation, reporting and general project management. Previously, Ms. Greene was one of two regional coordinators on the BBI-Cornell team responsible for New York’s Medicaid Infrastructure Grant. Prior to joining BBI, she worked as an independent management consultant, and in state government, specializing in the translation of research, legislation and policy into practical application. This included managing a 16–agency subcabinet charged with reengineering state and local workforce systems and playing a leadership role in the adoption of cross-systems workforce planning and service delivery initiatives. As a consultant, she offered technical assistance, facilitation and coaching services to organizations and communities in building collaborative and innovative approaches to service delivery relating to workforce development, juvenile justice, child welfare, mental health and education. Ms. Greene holds a Master of Arts degree from the School of Criminal Justice, University at Albany (SUNY).
