Description

If you're like most people today, the word "Apps" has become part of your everyday language and routine. In fact, while most everyone uses some sort of App to accomplish their personal and professional activities, keeping up with new development of Apps can be quite overwhelming. There are at least 200 new Apps released every day, with a fraction created specifically for people with disabilities.

Apps, whether on an iPad or iPod Touch, provide an easier route for daily tasks. This webinar will cover the accessibility features that come standard with iPads and iPod Touches as well as share a few favorite Apps that can assist individuals with disabilities, including some to assist with organization. Tools for Life will also introduce their new database that will make searching for disability related Apps easier.

At the end of this webinar, participants will:

  1. Have a basic understanding of the accessibility features of iPads and iPod Touches
  2. Learn about the latest apps to assist individuals with disabilities, including apps for organization.
  3. Learn about the new Tools for Life database for finding apps specifically for people with disabilities.
