Description:
This webinar will present two key employment models proven to be effective in improving outcomes for jobseekers with the most significant disabilities: Customized Employment and Evidence-based Supported Employment. In an interactive, facilitated discussion, national experts will compare and contrast these two interventions and provide guidance and examples for vocational rehabilitation counselors in choosing the intervention most suited to a given jobseeker’s needs and setting expectations for providers who deliver the intervention. Participants will:
- increase their knowledge about two employment strategies for serving individuals with significant or the most significant disabilities;
- have a greater understanding of which employment strategies to use in working with individuals on their caseload; and
- be better able to evaluate the delivery of these employment services by external providers.
