Description:
The purpose of this Webinar is to present the current version of the On-Line Tool Kit for Job Placement and Employment Professionals. The on-line tool kit is designed to provide placement and employer development providers just in time training on topics related to successful employment of people with disabilities. The tool kit is organized around a six stage approach to employment: vocational exploration, labor market exploration, successful job seeking, building employer connections, successful job keeping and career advancement. There is also an emerging trends component.
Each tool is approximately 1 page and includes key information about the topic, resources and links to further information. Tools are designed to answer placement questions such as what jobs are available, how do I find a job, how do I keep a job.
In this presentation we will present the tool-kit, explain the model and elicit feedback on future tools and how to make the tool-kit most relevant and useful for placement staff.
